SUNBEAM recommends the SunZip system to securely mount the SUNBEAM 50W Quick Fix to solar panels in high winds. If LOXX or TENAX buttons are fitted directly into the bimini canvas, the bimini canvas can be subjected to mechanical stress at certain points in strong winds and there is a risk that the LOXX or TENAX lower parts will be ripped out. This is not the case when using the SunZip. It has reinforced edges, is made of high-quality SUNBRELLA canvas and is attached to the bimini with VELCRO tape (see product photos above). The supplied Velcro strips must be sewn to the bimini canvas. This type of fastening ensures optimum wind load distribution and enables secure panel fastening at wind speeds of up to 50 knots. Dimensions: approx. 57x59cm.
