Top product BUT other installation dimensions!!!!
Ahoy, I bought the autopilot as a spare part because my old one was "ground through". The installation or conversion and replacement is actually child's play; The only problem is that the drive motor has different installation dimensions, since the installation dimensions do NOT match the previous pilot. Ergo I had to order a new bezel. -(

Hello Louis, this drive unit is compatible with the ST4000+ autopilot. We recommend using a new autopilot system, in case another part of your existing system will get defect in the near future you may need to install a new system in any case.
