Product details

A newly developed "on-deck windlass" with a modern design. Its completely waterproof housing is IP67 certified, as to ensure long-term operation. The relays are directly mounted on to the motor, making the windlass' installation considerably easier. No additional space is required below deck. Built-in sensors for the chain's length and sprockets for the combined use of rope and chain are additional features of HECTOR Windlass.

After proper installation and use, the Hector 1000 watt 24 volt suddenly failed completely. The drive shaft of the electric motor was broken because, as it turned out later, the gearbox was delivered without oil filling. In the gear box, not a drop of oil, only tons of bronze abrasion and damaged worm and sprocket. For days no opinion of SVB. Now we are stuck in the Caribbean once without perspective.
