This JOBE quick release mechanism increases your security while practising all kinds of water sports with a towable involved. It is fastened between the line and the towable and connected to your wrist, thus it provides for quick unlatching from the boat in case of an emergency. If you fall off or wish to diconnect a pull on your wrist will immediately cut the connection to the boat.
