The i2 base layer is made out of bamboo-derived activated carbon and can be worn as a cooling technical layer or as the bottom layer of multi-layered clothing. Activated bamboo carbonl is a natural product with antibacterial properties. It has an unusual microstructure, which is highly porous with a high adsorption capacity, which is still effective after its initial activation.
