I bought it for a VHF AIS Navicom, works perfectly! The assembly instructions were clear, no problem.

Flag of English I have Simrad tillerpilot TP22 and its compass is broken. It has NMEA0183. Is this GPS antenna compatible with TP22 as such or do I need some sort of GPS unit in order to connect my autopilot to this antenna? According to TP22 manual, one can connect it to wind meter or to magnetic compass with NMEA0183 but do you just connect the cables together or do you need more equipment between them to connect them?

Dear Esa, yes, that is possible with a NMEA0183 antenna. You have to take the cables together, thats all. Please look at our article -93741- Your SVB-team.
